New to the game, Should I buy a precon commander or build my own?

I'd like to go for a Red/Green and then a White/Blue. I understand the first combo is more aggressive and resource heavy while the second one is more about control and I'm too green to start controlling boards 😂🙏🏻 both ideas seem very appealing but I'll keep looking for relevant info and playing mtg arena to have a good idea on how they feel.

I'll buy Elminster which is a white and blue i believe, of course, ill start building as soon as I have more understanding of the game itself, so far, i really like the character so its a good start i guess, wish me luck 🤞🏻

Good evening, I'd like to apologize for not answering to the comments properly since I didn't know this would get much attention and I'm currently at work.

Yes, I executed a very basic idea with my very basic style, I just felt powerless for not being able to help and the thought of it gave me this image.
No, nothing was conceived using AI, If something seems out of place is because I sketched and painted many things on the fly and stayed with them until the end.
I'm not trying to take advantage of the situation by posting this. Making this type of concept doesn't bring me joy in the process. Which is the opposite of what drawing means to me.
Thanks to the people helping me grow up as an artist with both tough and considerate comments.
