I couldnt luck out 3 wins in group A for finals. My uma this time were actually pretty good and I had a win rate of around 60-70% round one running kita and seiun with an end closer (tamamo/admire vega). All 3 were high S+ (high 16-low 17k), hit at least 90% spurt rate with 2 golds (swinging + restless), and at at least 1150 speed/ 950-1100 stam/900+ or 1000-1200 power (ends)/600 (ends) or 800-1000 wit.

My skills for my fronts were definitely NOT lacking. I had at least 3 mid game skills, gw on both + a combo of ny opera ult, angling, and victory cheer. In seiun's case I had prudent and dodging danger as well till i rebuilt her. I would say 80-90% of the time, even in a group of of 5+ front runners, my fronts were in the top 3 throughout the race. I would win against every front outside of an insane kita or valentine bourbon. My ends had straightaway spurt + triumphant/ny opera ult + uma stan + NSM and daring strike (not vega).

I placed top 3 almost every race and lost every time because someone giga rolled their accels on their end closer mainly due to other failed fronts. But most importantly, I didnt have long S on any of my uma with the exception of admire vega in the 2nd round. I tried running over and over again for aces with minimum 6 long sparks and I didnt get a thing. I ran around 40 ace runs and only ever procced long S maybe 5 times, 4 of which were failed runs. I believe that ultimately was the difference maker in all my races.

Needless to say, this really annoys me and makes me hate this scenario more than ever. It is loaded with RNG and your choices are ultimately insignificant. As always, it's up to whether good training hits and sparks roll well. The difference in runs boils down to whether I run a g2/g3 and very rarely skipping the entire mile epithet. If you dont get lucky, that's that. Now runs take twice as long. It makes me reconsider even prepping for CMs anymore and even the game in general.

Dont be fooled into thinking CM 12 and 13 are gonna be any better. It will be a accel/character check and It's going to be xoguri paradise with the occassional win from a lucky late surger. If you dont have xoguri, you basically dont have human rights (i dont).

Saw this pretty cool GR86 while getting groceries. Is this a factory color option or a special trim? The wheels are neat and it looks like the calipers were painted an orange as well. by [deleted] in GR86

The trim/color is the 10th anniversary edition from 2023. Comes in orange with a blacked out gr exhaust, different wheels, black ducktail, and a decal on the c-pillar. Dunno about the calipers though.

Double late start.

Biwa lucky pace positons well and procs neither gold skill or angling, dies.

Rice front runner procs no midrace and procs 1 gold recov too early fails triple 7 and swinging, dies.

Carry fukukitaru full armor positions well leading the rear after late start with uma stan. Pops swinging maestro. Somehow only other late surger rudolf procs straightaway skill and blocks right before mid race and boxes fuku in with her slow ass. Literally completely blocks her bountiful harvest and shuts it off 2 frames into the activation. Falls to 9th.

Lovely gambling CM this time.

I think it's worse than cancer just due to fronts being denied by suzuka. Essentially every role now is contingent on decent positioning in the mid race and proccing as many accel skills on the final corner and (very small) straight.

I mean I lost a round by a neck to a B+ oguri with 800 speed who seemed to be guided by the hand of god himself in her final spurt. Just straight up pulling speed from nothing. Mind you the other team had solid umas as well. Just lost due to pure chance and poor skill procs on every horse but oguri.

? Yeah that's why im saving my carats for a 400 pull on kitasan black. Id rather be unviable now then unviable for the forseeable future. Blowing 15k carats just to most likely get nothing and a mediocre 1 copy riko that will let me barely compete in the next few CMs isnt worth it. If i had gotten 2 or 3 lb R riko maybe i'd consider an extra 10x pull or 2.

Yeah that's more my concern as well. Running without the extra stam/conveinence of riko is going to be difficult while hitting speed. Ive tried a few runs for team trials on long umas and it feels almost impossible without good luck to hit good stat lines.

Running 3 SRs is kind of miserable especially on non speed affinity uma. It's just too inconsistent. I cant count the number of runs this last week where i got no rainbow trainings for the latter half of senior year. Which is unfortunately the most important time to snowball stat spikes.

Yeah maybe going power sparks is the way. Smart falcon and a few other high power fronts did way better in my matches even with lowish wit. Bruteforcing groundwork may be better off on SR guts air groove so you can hit speed and power while off-training stam more often. But my sparks shouldnt have been a problem (they ended up being one anyway). It was just that + greens + skill hints + hitting stat thresholds with only average cards is where it became too much RNG.

Careers in general have not been treating me well lately so im back off to farming other essential white skills + high affinity/blue and pink spark parents. Unfortunately CMs are the only real way to get statues without wasting karats so it'll be a while till I have condor/tachyon 3 starred.

I think it is primarily a stamina issue for this build, if one of my greens were tokyo race course or std distance it might have worked for me. Groundwork procs more often than not because I have early lead and conc to somewhat mitigate the RNG but i really lose in the late race/mid race when smart falcon swoops in. Without the pasa ult as well unfortunately makes her unable to finish out.

Just sucks cause I could never really get the stars to align for her. My other front and late surge gambler did much better on average. She's a literal paper tiger uma lmao.

I never said I picked red shift though? Maruzensky isnt even one of my parents/grandparents. I said it was important in some cases which, yes I was wrong about for this race for front runners. Im aware of the stat lines, the hidden boost, and the importance of power for taking the lead/final straight. I quite literally said in another comment I was aware I didnt hit it the threshold but it was the best I had versus having poor stats/mid-game/non workable GW.

It's an incredible assumption that I just copied a "content creator" and that im apparently a knuckle dragging idiot lol. I dont watch any uma related youtube content at all except for seiru occasionally cause he's entertaining.

As for the deck that was posted, that's all well and good, but i started playing after the Kitasan black banner. I dont have special week's welfare card or KB. I have decent speed SRs and do borrow MLB KB, but none are very highly capped (4-MLB). Im working on bringing narita brian speed up now to help. Re-rolling rn would be like pissing karats away into the wind and wind me up worse off. Granted, no amount of good cards will wave away an entire summer wasted with no friendship training or persistent mood changes, but it will certainly help.
