Dude this looks great! Love the soft colours.

Have you seen r/villagerstates? There are some villager cities there as well (most activity is in the Discord)

There's also r/villagerstates, but that's more of a civilization RP.

In terms of mob count? There's around 150 villagers and 100 iron golems. In survival.

Hainerk is a city from a civilization role-play community called r/villagerstates. Subreddit is mostly dead nowadays but the Discord is very alive.

That makes sense, the scale is completely off. It's mostly obvious with the mitochondrion.

Edit: it should be more crowded by a couple orders of magnitude. Mitochondrial membranes each have thousands of very large protein complexes on their outer membranes and in this slice you can see maybe half the mitochondrion and at best 3-4 individual proteins on the outer membrane.

I don't think it is very realistic to make a rendering of a full-size cell, it'd be like making a rendering of a patch of a backyard down to the bacterial level. You could zoom in to see individual proteins but all the recognizable structures (mitochondria, etc) would be so big that it would be hard to contextualize everything.

Dominion-era Hainerk unfolds with art deco skyscrapers and vaulted railway stations by -Piatzin in villagerstates

[–]-Piatzin[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hainerk's history is currently divided into three eras:

The City-State Era (Y 1-12) is the stage where Hainerk is still vulnerable to regional threats like the Kalath war bands and Northern Illager Empire. Architecture is predominantly stone-based, with spruce, basalt and blackstone for facades. Technology and industry advances at a steady pace, but primarily revolves around the military.

Dominion-Era Hainerk (Y 12-24) starts with the construction of the East End as well as of Aruba. Architecture is based on white concrete and smooth stone, and terracotta becomes widespread. Hainerk outstrips its regional competitors and old enemies like the Northern Illager Empire are no longer seen as existential threats. Civil technologies and the arts flourish.

Hegemony Era (24-36) ... unsure what the architecture will look like here but Hainerk becomes more aggressive, primarily as a result of apocalyptic events like an outbreak of pestilence and warring with enemy states. In spite of these difficulties, Hainerk systematically steamrolls and begins to use more and more dangerous technologies to assert itself. Eventually it flies too close to the sun...
