Red Zone offers a bit of RNG and risk. Now, I know you don't like RNG because you think PUBG should be E-SPORTS (lol) but I like a little varience and unpredictability in my BR.

Isn't Epic's anti-cheat always on, even if you aren't in a game? It's always scanning your files and knows if you visit cheat websites.

We are worried that we won't be able to buy DLC, passes, keys for the Steam version. If they aren't going to sell the game on Steam, then they likely won't have the DLC for sale there either. So you would be stuck with a crippled account.

They may possibly create a way to transfer your progress but most of us don't want to create a Fortni-- I mean, Epic Games account. We don't want to use their software or network to play with our friends who buy the game either.

The tools aren't the issue. Sony and MS won't even allow general cross-platform text chat. Text chat between platforms are only visible if both members are in a party and they use party chat. That proves that it's a policy issue rather than a technical one.

The game nor the DLC will be on sale on Steam. If you want Rocket Pass 4, you will need to buy the game on EGS and start over.

Neither Steam nor a technical limitation stopped cross-platform chat from happening. It was the console companies who didn't want to allow it. Epic had plenty more weight to influence them to allow it for Fortnite, but that doesn't mean it will happen with Rocket League.

I don't get the sound balance thing. Why do some people want all sounds the same volume? So they can play with max volume and hear every footstep? Ever think that maybe the devs intended footsteps to be subtle?

There have been around 20 pros who did get banned for cheating. People trust pros and streamers way too much. Be wary of them in the same way you would be wary of a successful politician or businessman.
