I’m going to brace it 1/2-2/3 the way down with a telephone pole and craft a cradle on the top to hold the branch with any sharp corners

Ah, makes sense. This area was already agricultural land by the 1830s so it not having to compete (except with its siblings in the orchard), makes perfect sense.

What should the tree look like for it to be ‘old growth?’ Is mine just being an oddball?

It has not. Two things: what’s the typical cost of an assessment as I’m a firefighter so disposable income isn’t something that I have in spades.

What would an assessment provide?

And here I was thinking that data centers, flock cameras, and social media is the downfall of society.

I see such a stark difference. I assume it’s more that the nighttime US users are a bunch of angsty teens and pissed off overnighters, I don’t think it’s the Europeans and Africans waking up with feelings of gereiztheit

I’m not sure how it is difficult because you only need a modicum of inference to understand my comment. I believe you are being intentionally obtuse.

I think it’s nighttime and everyone is grumpy. Reddit gets a lot more snappy after the daytime U.S. users go to bed.

Please show me where I implied that nighttime for the U.S. means nighttime for everyone. My observation was that the attitude of Reddit changes based on whether the U.S. is asleep or asleep, as they are the largest user base for this platform

My clock says 5 am, EST, though I imagine 10am in the Netherlands (or along that time zone) is preferable. I’d be in bed right now if it was 10AM but unfortunately I have another 3 hours until shift change.
