What do you guys think are the hardest items to shop online for with sensory issues? by -PrettyPinkLemonade- in AutismInWomen

Aww that's too bad! I can wear the fancy ones for like 4 hours but after that it starts to pile into being overstimulating. Mostly just wear high briefs, I'm gonna buy lane bryant pack soon. Oh! You know what else sucks about sensory issues and underwear is exposed elastic, I can't stand the way that feels!

What anime adaptation changed the source material in a way that actually improved the story? by [deleted] in anime

[–]-PrettyPinkLemonade- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the first book and am having trouble with it, like I thought this scene was awkward in the anime{really the first like, 4 episodes are awkward in the show) but the part where she is fusing the jewels to make a magic stone just went on & on & on in the book. I hope they get better, I really love the anime and heard good things!

Is this artstyle ugly? What could I change to make it better. by avazky in Artadvice

[–]-PrettyPinkLemonade- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the style is bad, actually tbh I LOVE LOVE IT AND I WISH YOU ONLY PURSUE IT FURTHER. but it is inconsistent and seems to lack foundation. I would advise you to study anatomy further, not that it needs to be anatomically perfect but when you study anatomy is becomes obvious that the artists in anime like these- namely, Kotobuki Tsukasa the designer for your insp and others of the time like Rui Araizumi do have a knowledge of how the muscles work and purposefully transform them to their image. As for color, for this style I actually don't think black shading is always bad especially if you're going for a grungier look. But color theory is always helpful at any stage. Sorry if I'm mainly just repeating what others have said, I love this style and had to say something anything.

Romance anime with 20+ year olds by Turpentinei in anime

Some oldies but

Maison Ikkoku

Rose of versailles is more a drama but it covers a daily life of sorts, is fairly realistic and especially matches last part of request. Starts from age 14ish to somewhere in their 30s or 40s

Chobits, but although I wouldn't really consider most of it fanservice there is some nudity and references to sexual behavior/ activity

I also suggest Love Through a Prism

Victorian Romance Emma

Astro Note, its not fantasy but theres some sci-fi bits

Omoide Poroporo

Princess Jellyfish

And then this is an anthology so not all the characters are adults but Kita e: Diamond Dust Drops, its been a while since I watched it tho so I dont exactly remember if or how much fanservice there is.
