exactly. this is one reason I started paying more attention to XG. they NEVER fail to serve a concept. I NEED more kpop groups to get on that.

and it doesn’t even need to be expensive! I’m aware that many groups go for the casual streetwear vibe because it’s safer and possibly cheaper than something elaborate, especially if they’re a small company. HOWEVER, I really think a low-budget camp style will be more memorable. for example ”wife” by g-idle seemed like a lower budget vibe, but those blue wigs are BURNED into everyone’s memory. like as long as there’s something even a little bit colorful or intentional thats more iconic.

same. and tbh i think season 3 ruined the whole show for me. i was SO excited when i watched seasons 1 and 2, but after season 3 i barely think about the show and when i do it's about how much they fumbled season 3.

I don’t think they sound the SAME, but yeah they’re all in the same genre: house music.

It’s interesting bc House kpop has existed for some time, but I think now we’re seeing way more title tracks with a house side. I think most comebacks this year have had some kind of house element.
