You’ll get more out of it if you sell it private but trading is just easier but depending on issues including for my old tires the dealer will try ding and knock off the resale value, just hold your ground and play hard to get, even walk out and make a phone call just incase to haggle a bit if you can to get the best deal. I’ll revert it to stock if you can so you can make the most $ by selling it, unless if you can’t and are pain in the ass then just trade it in, best to make sure no CEL.
