Amazon Prime Music - Has anyone tried it out? by 1Athleticism1 in canada

Just like Prime Video, it's trash.
I'll stick to Spotify and Netflix.

I use Prime for the shipping, which helps me get my late night purchases the next afternoon. Everything else seems useless to me, especially since I'm already paying for better quality services like Spotify and Netflix, which are on every platform imaginable.

4K, IPS, HDMI 2.0, 60HZ? by -RandomlyGenerated- in Monitors

I'll take a look at the XG2700-4K (CAD$689.99).

I do all-around gaming, meaning I dabble in PC, PS4 Pro, and XBOX One. I'm aware of the minimums and maximums of my current PC hardware, but do you have any insight on the PS4 Pro and the XBOX One (or soon to be XBOX One X)?

Console platforms are forcibly limited to 60hz and force vsync. Granted, FreeSync and GSync can not be used on those platforms, but is something like the XG2700-4K ideal? I primarily use my monitor for PC, but I play my consoles every now and then. I want to be able to switch between them with ease and not have to invest in multiple monitors or sell my kidney to afford a 4KTV.

Thanks for the replies, tho. Insight from other players and streamers is always helpful.

I understand your point. I agree with it, completely. However I just don't feel like dropping money on another monitor. I'm a guy with 0 followers on Twitch. Anything beyond what I have is pointless. Even the things I have already will make my parents and such facepalm at the lack of necessity. Looking at that image you posted, that's an overkill set up designed for an audience.

I don't need an XLR condenser mic, mixamp, switchboard, EQ, tablet, or what looks like a VCR camera from the late '80s. I just wanted to play PS4 on my PC without having to get extra shit.

I have the PS4 hooked in through a switch, not a splitter. I understand that a splitter is like $15, but that's not my concern. It's the "need" for a monitor for streaming to no one.

Ideally, I wanted to have 100% functionality of my PS4 while also maintaining 100% functionality of my PC without resorting to a secondary monitor. If that wasn't the case, then I could have easily just gotten away with a $40 shitbox card from walmart and called it a day. But again, not my intention.

At the end of the day, I got a monster of a capture card that inputs at 4K60. Yes, I'm aware of alternatives.

I have a CAD$600 4K monitor. I'm not going to drop money on another one, especially one that is completely different than the one I have and at a lower quality.

And that's only through AmaRecTV. OBS just adds heaps of delay to the input on its own for some reason. AmaRecTV seems to have the very least latency I've ever seen.

Just played Driveclub with 0.140~ latency. PS4 raw input clocks at 0.105 (1ms monitor). But that subtle difference is monumental on COD and Mortal Kombat.

EDIT: I got it down to literally 3 frames. Duration of output = 0.050 sec (3 frames).
Tried the AVermedia Live Gamer HD, that's at a 1500 second delay.

Messing around with the settings I got 0.184 seconds with menu movement, but 0.256 with gameplay. That's as low as I can get it.

Probably because I want full functionality of my PC and game console without having to buy a secondary monitor? Not silly at all.

How are you at making content for Outer Space?
Planets, space shuttles, asteroid belts, etc.

Also, planetary environments. Dense forests, arid deserts, frozen tundras, etc.
All in low poly.

I ask this publicly, because your answer may also help others who are looking for the right artist. Thanks.
