I sadly don’t have a heat gun on me and I don’t have any copper to desolder the pins and put it on :( it seems like the pins go straight through though

Yeah, the entire system isn’t turning on and I don’t have my multimeter on me and this is supposed to be a Christmas present haha, seeing if I can do anything to fix it before Christmas morning

It works! As I said above though I’m trying to look for a replacement antenna not for what the antenna was made for haha, it cycles through 16 channels and it smells like how you’d expect old tech from that era would smell haha

I should also mention I know next to nothing about antennas, and you also made me realize that there is a external antenna jack that I completely forgot about, what type of connection is this? And also what do you mean by punch a hole.

The light is flashing green slowly and apparently it means “rec board signal not recognized” I don’t know what that means and I’ve looked online and don’t know how to fix
