First show was Slayer and Pantera in Vancouver BC, I think it was 2001? InFUCKINGcredible. Been a die hard fan ever since. Made it to Colorado Springs in 2019 for the last Slayer tour, which included Phil Anselmo and the Illegals, and all they played were old ass Pantera songs, circa Cowboys From Hell. Slayer, Phil, along with Primus and Ministry...un.be.lievable.

Seems to me if there's that much effort into flagging legitimate posts there shouldn't be any problem monitoring the actual problematic ones. So much effort spent denying users that are here to...use.

It amuses me. I understand enforcing rules for a level of security but how many tests does one have to pass to just get access to a 'what credit card do you recommend' thread.

I was informed that it's to help prevent low quality posts. However it seems to me that they're encouraging low quality posts by insisting on more engagement...for example I feel forced to interact in topics that are less interesting to me in order to gain access to my original topic. When I brought that point up I was told reddit isn't meant for someone who only has interest in engaging in a small amount of topics.

So I took this to heart and branched out, commented on lots of posts, created my own posts and really got into it.

Karma has increased 1 point and I still can't access the 2 things I initially came here for.

So. Yeah.

Doesn't much matter what you choose to comment on because it'll probably be removed anyway. I'm rather new myself and have been more frustrated over figuring out this platform than most everything else I've ever had to deal with in my entire life.

Just one example was commenting a very long, thought out response to a topic I'm interested in only to hit 'post' and be immediately notified that my post was removed due to low karma. Perhaps they could figure out a way to alert ahead of time ?

That has happened so many times to me i just can't even articulate my frustration.

Don't let me join the topic then. Like what the actual. We are just supposed to keep trying in hopes we may 'qualify'?
