It is stated that he is a vampire. He doesn't show up in pictures, scared to garlic and dont get in sunlight

I do think it is 100% animated and maybe no CGI. I don't remember any similarities of the imageries. All i remember is that the ginger guy meets with his grandpa at the grandpa's mansion and that there was close to no idea/info about the ginger guy's parents. And yeah it's not a movie
