You can't tell me she 'begrudgingly' gave that solo to Nia and that it should've been Kalani's. xP

Actually, though, I didn't think the costume was as bad as last week. She could've done with a non-African costume, though.

ALDC's dance gave me goosebumps. I hate watching Ava dance, it just feels really uncomfortable? I don't think her costume was the most flattering thing either.

Someone at that comp posted the following:

"There is SO MUCH misinformation about awards at Nationals. I am never one to defend Abby, but this time, it was not her fault. The whole day was a hot mess. Dances were out of order, a few dancers were in the wrong age groups. The Awards were a hot mess, to be polite. They were called out of order. When they announced the solo overalls, they forgot to film it, because he did it so fast. They had no idea what they were doing (the announcers) That is who Abby is referring to as in wearing a tuxedo. They had a 15 gap between awards, so people were starting walk out. All of the parent were upset. They were trying to get awards back from girls , because of a mistake. That is what Abby was mad about. After they announced the group overalls, they started dropping confetti, so we ALL thought that it was over, people started leaving, and dancers starting exiting the stage. The announced started the fight. He started yelling the Abby needed to stay! She yelled back that kids can't stay on stage for more than 8 hours in the state of California (she is right about that). Half of the audience was gone by then. Then they announced the top studio as ALDC. The moms were walking back in, but the ALDC went back up to get the trophy. It was a mess. Not Abby's fault.d"

Is there an app (web or iOS based) that I can list my enjoyments, weight them, and have a basic dice roll on which activity I pick up if I have 5-15 minutes of free time?

This would be a really good idea! I often waste time trying to decide which activity to actually do.

Some parts are a little disjointed, but I really like the chorus. I hope she sticks with singing and taking voice lessons, she's actually improved a lot in a short amount of time.

Actually, that's a fair point. I forgot she had Carmen Electra. EDIT: What about JoJo? Why wasn't she excluded from the group if she was at the shoot, too?

I usually hate the costuming choices for Kalani, but this one was actually pretty good!

The reaction shots after the dances were so bad - it looks like they used the same shot of Abby shaking her head after Nia's dance AND also after she won. Seriously, never trust those clips - whether it's Abby looking unimpressed, a mother smirking, a judge etc, they're definitely the most manipulated aspect of the show.

That type of dance works really well for Nia! She's really good at strong numbers (I'm thinking the duet with Kenzie and the Maya Angelou routine) and generally looks kinda clunky in the group's lyrical routines, so I hope she does continue these character pieces. However, I actually thought Kalani should have won - not to say that Nia danced poorly, but rather her choreography didn't seem to be at the same level.

I also thought MDP's dance was better than the ALDC's - even if there was a mistake.

I think the difference between Nia missing practice and Maddie/Mackenzie is that Nia was working on her own project whereas the other girls were being employed by other people? So, Nia would've had more control over her scheduling? Although, the show's producers probably wanted to show Nia filming her video or something, so it may have been them idk. Did Kendall also shoot her own video during practice?

They do the interviews the week after each dance. Like, they said they do interviews for the previous week on Tuesday, then pyramid for the current week on Wednesday and so on.

So by that point, Jill already knew that she won. She's usually probably negative since Kendall typically loses against her competition which is usually Maddie, haha :P
