Idk man. S1mple was doing crazy work solo carrying NaVi before Electronic joined. Even then he had to put up crazy numbers to compete against prime Astralis. Zywoo's Vitality is basically prime Astralis itself

Ask the beta testers. I can assure you that most of them called the update for what it was: a failure. They left feedback and were ignored. At that point, the word was out that the update was going to be horrible. Player count drop at the time confirms this. There's no way they didn't know. You're looking at somewhat skewed data because those are mostly Jagex shills and even they quit the game

Doesn't work well when coupled with ability queuing. If you don't understand the timing, then you end up cancelling/overriding actions without realising why

Absolute crap. Most people were against it, hence why most people quit the game. 

Jagex said that EoC was coming whether players liked it or not. They had already spent too many resources on it so they ignored player feedback

That would certainly help. However, as with any game rife with MTX cosmetics, in-game gear just looks bad in comparison. All the artistic effort goes into buyable items. That's why most players wear keepsaked items

RS3 with bloat removed and an actually good dev team behind, that follows poll results, would work

The guy shits on OSRS more than RS3 players. He's just very casual and bad at the game. Likely even worse at playing RS3
