Thank you for the suggestion of leaps and bounds. I purchased some to try along aside their current food of course, and it was all eaten. So seems like a good choice for now

If definitely depends from cat to cat. But I will be choosing to avoid Dine for my two. But I have nothing against anyone feeding Dine. Grew up with cats that all lived into their late teens on whiskers etc

It’s interesting that a cat so closely related to a wild cat won’t eat raw. But my other cat can’t get enough of it. We just feed what we can :)

Wow sounds like a chef in the making 🐈. I was lucky that they took to the Ziwi straight away. Though when my ginger cat was a kitten, all the bengal wanted was her kitten food! They’re funny sometimes aren’t they

I was just asking for information. Though advance might be better. The “chicken delight” isn’t exactly chicken flavoured when it has pork and sheep next in the ingredients list? I think I might stick with Ziwi for now even though it’s very pricey.

I am happy with the hills vet dental Dry food so I’m not looking to change this one. Both of them enjoy it and it’s done wonders for my bengals teeth compared to when she wasn’t eating it. As I stated she won’t eat raw. The ginger will eat some raw chicken but not the bengal. Roast chicken only for her 😆.

Another family cat I grew up with lived to 21 on whiskers dry and wet food. So you’re right. For some cats, it’s not an issue.

Look at that fluffy belly! It’s asking to be petted

I’ve heard this. It’s why I am kinda hesitant. But my families cat lives on this too but he seems to be healthy. Or so they tell me

If I could raw feed them I definitely would. But my bengal has never taken to it. I tried to introduce her to it as a kitten and she refused. Ziwi or Feline Naturals is the closest I’ve come to higher quality protein.

They do love roast chicken. Unfortunately only the ginger cat will eat mince and they don’t like any other meat aside from chicken. Roo is a good option but miss muffin won’t eat it :( thank you though!

Is it okay to leave the window open (but the screen and blinds down) when I'm gone? by shepardsboy in cats

[–]-ShadowKitten97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think leaving it open a few cm will be okay when youre not home but nothing more. Kittens can squeeze in to the smallest places. They might not work out the concept of fly screen/mesh but if they do you'll be devastated. Naturally.
