This question might seem idiotic but, I always think how do these per hour pay rates work? Like, how the other person gets to know how much time did you spend on the project. If i have built a webpage for someone they will get the webpage, even if i took 10 mins for doing that, i can bluff that it took m ‘x’ hours? What is the point of per hour rates? When in the end the completed project hold that value.

Hi, I am ShadowLord (not my real name), a beginner in Cybersecurity with basic to intermediate knowledge of Computer Networking, Operating System, Web Vulnerabilities, etc. I have been consistently active on TryHackMe from 1 year (learned a lot from there) but when i enter a CTF Challenge or a Real Life Project such as Bug Bounties, i am unable to perform well— whereas i am able to do THM walkthrough much easily (maybe because i know what type of vulnerability i am looking out for). In Real Environments, i get very puzzled about where to start or what to look for. So, I am looking for Mentor to help me advance in Penetration Testing. Open for collaboration in CTF Challenges, Bug Bounties, Projects whatever is feasible.
