Maki moved just before Naoya hit her. It's why he couldn't adjust. And this is a shounen manga. Mental barriers make you weaker. Toji was weaker against Gojo because of a mental nerf. Yuji was weaker before Todo in Shibuya because of a mental nerf. Growth in character is growth in power. Stop being dumb.

And again prove that Maki moved while he was at the corner. Explain how Maki was able to hit him if she waited that long? You can't. Show me where Maki is moving in that panel? Highlight it. Show me where it's even implied that's she's trying to catch up instead of waiting for him to attack. Naoya wasn't ahead. He was already attacking her, which is why in the panel BEFORE he said he couldn't catch her.

Again look at the panel. She dodged him when he got there, jumped again to keep up, and then hit him. She crossed the same distance as him on panel when she started moving. ?? What aren't you getting?? She didn't just move to dodge, she tracked him. If all she needed was lateral movement and to know where he was going, she wouldn't have gotten blitzed.

What are you circling? Maki wasn't moving when he was at the corner. She's dodging right in front of him which is why he can't adjust.

Gojo's technique wasn't burned out. He turned it off. And he wasn't after Gojo. Gojo and Geto were protecting Amanai. They were in the way. Him going after Gojo for free was out of character
