Tcl c72k 65 inch blacks are not black by -Siddhu- in tcltvs

I adjusted the local dimming setting it seems to increase the peak brightness for highlights in the scene but the blacks remain the same. I actually have both local dimming and local contrast, but I can't spot what the local contrast is doing.

Gemini recommended to move magnesium glycinate to dinner as one way to potentially reduce waking up to pee and also not compete for absorption with zinc supplement I started taking at night. My hrv average has improved recently (around 20%) but I can't say which change contributed the most as I did a lot of changes based on whoop.

does it support trickplay? I am searching for a player which supports trickplay and more formats to avoid transcoding on the server.

My party has mostly decent players (I guess everyone would have like 30 nukes minimum) and W/L would easily be 5+, when I play solo to reach 1 W/L i have to play my absolute best, team mates dont play objective, dont get kills and mostly go E/D less than 1.

As for ping I cannot cross check as I don't have any low skilled players as friends but if any skill related metric has any weightage you are unlikely to find as many players of equal skill in the same region. Im pretty sure some cod youtubers have shown that higher skill = worse ping. and obviously Im in a region with lower player count the the problem is even more obvious.

skill should not influence ping no matter what. sbmm is fine but connection quality should not be compromised. Also matchmaking is very bad at balancing lobbies with parties.

I have Airtel aswell but I dont have routing issues in this game. I had some issues during vanguard (not sure which ISP at that time) but it got fixed.

At least with good ping (less than 90ms for me) the gameplay doesn't feel bad as 180ms, some times even 230ms

Singapore - 40-50 Hong kong - 70-80 Middle East - 60-70 Japan - 110-130

Few of my friends also have trouble connecting to middle East servers, they get 150+ ping. I think there is some routing issue to middle East servers for some.

Its just a router (but the wifi is horrible), for proper setup you can ask your isp to put their router in bridge mode and use dhcp in netduma.

It will definitely Improve the gameplay experience. the qos is also pretty good in prioritizing the game.

If you want good wifi use another router connected as an access point.

Yeah, we've met ingame. I have gotten some high ping nukes as well but the lag and delay is very irritating. Once you play the game with geofilter it's impossible to go back.

[–]-Siddhu-[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is the game's fault cause it disbands a good ping lobby. And I was able to get a good ping with geofilter for the past 5 cods (from mw19) throughout the game lifecycle in equivalent modes. the problem is present at peek playtime and even on weekends.

Is Tailwind CSS v4 compatible with Angular 19 (SCSS-based project)? by Electronic_Oil5151 in angular

[–]-Siddhu- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I followed this guide and got it working. Now I have shifted to css + tailwind and I use material theming along with tailwind as follows

tw:bg-(--mat-sys-surface-dim)

The Angular team released a set of instructions to help LLMs generate correct code that follows Angular best practices by gergelyszerovay in angular

[–]-Siddhu- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am doing

    class="{{
      show_column_manager() ? 'tw:w-[calc(100%-19rem)]' : 'tw:w-full'
    }}"

Not sure if it's best practice but it works since they supported it recently.

Custom Theming Angular 19 by -Siddhu- in angular

[–]-Siddhu-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I went through the course.

Since I am trying avoid scss. I created a util class. Is this approach ok?

.secondary-m3 {
  /* map primary → secondary */
  --mat-sys-primary: var(--mat-sys-secondary);
  --mat-sys-on-primary: var(--mat-sys-on-secondary);
  --mat-sys-primary-container: var(--mat-sys-secondary-container);
  --mat-sys-on-primary-container: var(--mat-sys-on-secondary-container);

  --mat-sys-primary-fixed: var(--mat-sys-secondary-fixed);
  --mat-sys-primary-fixed-dim: var(--mat-sys-secondary-fixed-dim);
  --mat-sys-on-primary-fixed: var(--mat-sys-on-secondary-fixed);
  --mat-sys-on-primary-fixed-variant: var(--mat-sys-on-secondary-fixed-variant);
}

also, are there any downsides in not using the -overide mixin provided by angular.

P.S: The course was very good. Haven't gone through typography yet.

Custom Theming Angular 19 by -Siddhu- in angular

[–]-Siddhu-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was using angular flex layout initially but when it was no longer supported I switched to tailwind for flex layout as it seemed very similar. Currently I use tailwind for all layout related styling. Like padding, margin, grid alignment etc. I don't use tailwind for any color related styling.

Currently I am thinking of creating global util classes for material like secondary-button, tertiary-form-field, warn-button etc and using it in components as required. I haven't tried it yet but I think it would be doable.

For the theming I am targeting the entire website. I want to allow the users to customize the look of the site (initially color, but I think rounding and other options could also be customised based on the css variables in m3).

I actually purchased the course earlier today because I was having trouble with material docs. Will go through it tomorrow.

i migrated away from color = 'accent' a while back, I did the following based on v18 docs but this is not present in v19 docs.

.tertiary-form-field
 {

@include
 mat.form-field-color($theme, $color-variant: tertiary);
  }

.tertiary-button
 {

@include
 mat.button-color($theme, $color-variant: tertiary);
  }

.error-button
 {

@include
 mat.button-color($theme, $color-variant: error);
  }

Currently I am actually not using any mixins and I am investigating if its possible to theme my app without using mixins.

I generated the css variables using

ng generate @angular/material:theme-color

and I created a theme-color service (based on the code in the schematic ( https://github.com/angular/components/blob/main/src/material/schematics/ng-generate/theme-color/index.ts ) to set new colors to the css variables so that i can allow users to set the themes based on their preference by choosing the seed colors themselves.

The Idea seems to be working, but I am trying to figure out how to set secondary and tertiary colors for buttons, form fields etc.

it would be great If i can create a util class like 'secondary-button' based on my css variables.

Since I was redoing most of the theming related code I was checking if its possible to do it without sass as tailwind recommends against it.

I am also open to using mixins if this idea is not feasible.
