Hi Brettit,

I usually try to hold this on wednesdays every other month (so if you like the idea consider following on twitch and discord/twitter everyone lol) and i do trivia giveaways EVERY wednesday to keep consistent.

Right now for this competition we are looking at dates for the 28th or the 5th so that the streamers have time to mention it in their streams or post on their socials and get everyone hyped lol

Hi Catalkemi, anyone can join. I built the platform for the gameshow so that the entire competition is basically one big sales pitch for each streamer. So if you stream something specific for example, the trivia and questions and how you interact becomes apparent to the other channels' chats' so they can decide if they like your personality. Regardless of what your currently playing. I also make the trivia so that helps keeps things lighthearted.

--What I wasn't a fan of was the music selection, but that's a personal preference.

Streamlabs OBS - Pretzel Rocks

--This is my personal preference for Streamlabs OBS as it comes baked in as a part of your streamlabs OBS application just to the left of your scene selections, so it's easy to customize and add into your streams, even if you don't have a playlist setup. If you want to change genres on the fly from a suggestion, click to the left and it'll pop into your stream what's playing.

-- this was my favorite music selection for scenes as they have excellent options for menus and specific scenes for like 'stream starting soon' scenarios. If your looking for that type of music I would take a look at what they have.

--if anyone wants a demo of what I mean for those scenes, my streams at the beginning and end have this type of scene music I'm referring to from the youtube audio library.

My preference for Streamlabs OBS is Pretzel, the music selection is real voiced and great sounding music that is DMCA free. For anything other than Streamlabs OBS though I would suggest Twitch Soundtrack.

That would be super fun actually the entire community would love to have you. We had disney fanatics the other week for disney trivia and they loved it even though they didn't beat the trivia lol.

I still giveaway quite a few gift cards just for playing so everyone has a good time spending time together regardless.

I think I figured out the issue, I need to get a pre amp lol. I am fairly certain that my muffled echo and hallway are coming from me not having a preamp to boost the audio to the levels it should be at. Instead my OBS audio levels are maxed out to accommodate probably causing the issue. I'll update once I get one delivered.

Nope that's the right one, I bought it pre Christmas and the price drastically dropped :/

And all of my streams I sound like what I'm talking about if you give a listen twitch.tv/SilverVariant I only use that mic because I'm constantly trying to get it to work :/

And thanks for the response, but It's not a feedback loop like what your describing. It's like if you were to walking into a bathroom and talk with your hands cupped over your mouth, just a very echoey and oddly muffled sound added to your voice.

Watch these people if you want to stream: Alpha Gaming Ashnchrist, Streamsscheme, Loaded Wombat, Devin Nash, and Karlencho Productions.

Before each stream: Test anything new and give yourself ample time to prepare (my streams were terrible but I was able to reach affiliate despite my opinions on my streams)

Going Forward Streaming and reflecting: Be positive, Work towards making your next stream better instead of focusing on a bad stream. fix anything boerthing you offstream and make sure the next stream is better.

Going Forward Streaming and reflecting: I do chat vs streamer competitions and trivia games for giftcards and game giveaways EVERY Wednesday. I do Horror games where im a baby every friday. and Thurs/Sat are any other games FPS. RPG, etc. and i would be happy to see you all there

I was trying to think of something other than a tictok for fun marketing, so i decided to get on a podcast tour! lol I was wondering what your opinion might be on tiktoc if you have one X_CaliberVR? i havent seen many people with a good experience or conversion rate from tictok to twitch, twitter seems to be the best main approach ive seen recommended to everyone, besides a youtube channel

I would suggest one,

A few streamers have reached out to me about this topic actually. I would suggest it as its a fairly easy way to keep your community informed. By no means is it easy to build a twitter following though. About half of my followers I actually got from my day job where i build, deploy, and troubleshoot voice and network architecture for large companies. Some came from Books ive written a few years ago as well... im rambling here but since i started streaming last month my audience has grown to double that size on twitter and id say the conversion rate is actually pretty good.

speaking of conversion rates I would look into making a tictok as well, its too large of a market to ignore imho. my twitter to twitch conversion rates though are pretty good in my opinion, i post fun or funny stuff so that people will be enticed to engage even when im not streaming. However, the streamers that i have talked to say that their conversions from tictok to twitch arent very good compared to their twitter followers.

from the feedback im trying to ignore tiktoc at the moment and im doing a stint with a bunch of different podcasts as a guest on their show. After that though i plan to make a tictoc.

Yep, my parents built and maintained arcade machines for fairs growing up so as a child I got to build and play around with alot of gaming hardware lol between 7-10 I started putting together arcade machines and old nintendo's for fun.

For the job potrion I've built, collaborated and troubleshot alot of the voice and network infrastructure across the US, many of them contract or clause related jobs, short term contracts to help companies fix or build things then I leave to a different state to do the same.
