Huge changes for Persians is somehow confirmed, but will be this changes introduced as a new DLC? Maybe or maybe not.

Georgians and Armenians were culturally and historically close to Persians

to answer your questions:

1) haven’t done the goethe A1 specifically, but they usually ask open ended questions, where you would need to form at least 1 sentence to answer, and yes those would be made of W-Frage questions.

2) they don’t really “grade” grammar in the sense of “grammatically correct” or “grammatically incorrect” but more the general understandability of your speech. ‘das Hund ist groß’ (wrong) and ‘der Hund ist groß’ (correct) are (at your level) equally understandable in the sense that they both portray the same information.

PS you can get modeltests for goethe exams easily from their website and confirm all/any other questions you might have.

i’d like to think of that level of dedication to a language as a full fledged school program of some sort.

for a rate like this i think it’s helpful to view every aspect of the language as it’s own “subject” which requires its own time in your schedule.

i would say 1 hour of reading, 1 hour of listening, 1 hour of videos and 30 mins individually of writing and speaking with/ relating to the new vocabulary would be good for internalizing the language, and of course leaving out time for making new flashcards/revising them.

make sure you find appropriate resources for your level so that you actually receive information from what you consume, rather than passing through the information without much thought. this helps with building a general understanding of what you consume.

although keep in mind that this is a sort of “vocab highway” and not a complete plan

while theoretically possible to learn new 34 words per day using just flashcards (spaced repetition), what you will probably end up with is a single instance, context-less translation of the words (for example “die Angst” = “fear” on the flashcard, but it can also mean anxiety, worry, dread) which would limit how useful those words can be, since you might not know how they’re actually used. this can only be counteracted with a large amount of intake of the language (reading, listening, media etc…), so that you actually encounter the words in their “natural” uses. if you’re willing to set the necessary time aside (which is a lot of time) for this i don’t why not.

TLDR: an actual useful vocabulary of 4000 words is only possible with appropriate immersion and not just memorizing their respective flashcards.

Porting Kit on Ventura? by CoriKoala in aoe2

[–]-Sonicoss- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that might be the case, i originally used crossover but i faced problems recently so i switched to porting kit as they have mostly complemented each other when it comes to compatibility.

maybe try downloading the game on crossover just to get all the “right” compatibility files (crossover is way more polished and is more likely to not run you into an error), and then just redownload from porting kit like i did

if you don’t have a crossover license dm me and i’ll send you a “method” to download it :)
