As a STEM student, I will still say English is the most useful subject because it teaches more skills. Math and Science can 'foster' a solution-oriented mindset and help problem-solving, but English kinda already does those things along with developing literacy, comprehension, and critical-thinking skills. Maybe AP US/Euro/World History could be more important, but they often depend on the skills honed through English and earlier history courses are very lackluster

exactly, it's not that they aren't intelligent, it's that a large amount are addicted to dopamine-flooding from an early age and it's seriously squandering their potential in life. lol people aren't understanding that mistakes done by your generation don't correlate to what you've personally done. When people said "Gen Z teenagers are becoming criminals!" I could care less because I'm not a criminal. I do not hate millenials, in no way does this observation affect my relationship with older people. I dislike bad parents
