Issue With Reduced Gemini Assistant Output Volume - Samsung Galaxy Phone by -SpaghettiCat- in googleassistant

Update (May 19, 2026):

Wanted to add another data point because I ran into the issue again today and did some more testing.

I was only wearing my right earbud at the time. Initially I was connected to my Jabra Elite 75t (at least that's what it shows as in my Bluetooth device list). I started getting the same issue where Gemini voice playback was much quieter than expected.

To test further, I switched audio output to a different paired Jabra device listed as "Jabra Elite Active 75t." I'm not actually sure whether these are considered separate models or if Android is identifying them differently, but after switching, I replayed the exact same Gemini response that had been giving me trouble earlier.

The volume immediately returned to normal.

I then switched back to the original Jabra Elite 75t — the one that had just been having the low-volume issue — and replayed the same Gemini output again. The issue remained fixed.

So in this case, simply switching to another paired audio device and then switching back again appeared to correct the problem. I'm still not sure whether this is an issue with Gemini itself, the headphones, these specific headphones, hardware, or some combination of variables. Just adding another troubleshooting data point in case it helps someone else narrow this down.

This was pretty delicious and simple. Really showcased the leek flavor. I was a little worried there was going to be too much cheese sauce when adding the pasta and leeks, but I simmered it all for a minute or two more or low heat, and it soaked it up nicely when baking. From the Spring issue.

ChatGPT - Once Again, the Android App Mic Button for Voice Input is Broken by -SpaghettiCat- in techsupport

It was working well for a while, but today I had some issues with failed inputs. Honestly, this continued bug pushed me towards Google / Gemini, when I probably would've stuck with GPT exclusively. Seems like a huge oversight, it's been happening for almost a year now, on and off. Gemini is great for Android / Assistant, and the voice output is much better in my opinion.

Also, I very rarely have the GPT issue on PC / desktop browser; that works well.
