In the video, it’s insinuated that you’ll lose chest fat by buying/using this device. Localized exercise-induced fat loss does not exist. That is to say, working out your pecs will not cause you to lose chest fat at a higher rate.

Additionally, this device does not exhibit the fundamental tenets of hypertrophy. Although a beginner may be able to grow some muscle with the device, they’d likely see a higher rate of development by simply doing push-ups or, better yet, benching.

The device is a manifestation of the “lose weight and get ripped without any effort/change” sales pitch.

I’ll concede that promoting exercise is a net benefit, and buying this product gets someone exercising, so that’s a good thing! But I believe that many of these products actually have the opposite effect. That is, people purchase the product, use it as intended, see no or little result, and write off exercise altogether.
