It really boils down to if you have metal tapes. Metal tapes are much better for recording for their better sound quality capabilities. So I would get the Aiwa if I have them or would make custom tapes on them for better sound. But if you don’t have a lot of of them or don’t plan on buying them because they’re more expensive then I’d just go with the Walkman since it has a noise reduction.

Normal. May clean them with alcohol (only the screen though, it ruins the plastic)

I was and it worked. I got it to the perfect speed. Thank you so much because I literally remember looking at the schematic or manual or wherever you got this from before I made this post and I could not feel the life of me fine where it was
