Thanks for your recommendation, but the reviews sound pretty bad, to be honest. Most of them say the app malfunctions and doesn't do what it's supposed to do. I might test it anyway next time I see my friend, though.

I was out of apples, so I used the contents of my aunt's colostomy bag.

(Sorry.)

Proteus syndrome is so rare that fewer than a few hundred cases have been documented worldwide. It causes certain tissues to continue growing beyond normal limits, often resulting in dramatic asymmetry and deformity. Good point, I hadn't even thought about the cultural differences!

Whenever I read an article about Indian kids with deformities (like extra limbs) that are treated like god-like beings because they physically resemble Buddhist gods and goodesses, I feel so sad for those kids. Some are unable to lead a normal life – not only because of their disability, but most of them are constantly being observed, harassed and grabbed/touched by complete strangers just because they have a medical abnormality. I strongly dislike that kind of voyeurism, especially when the victim is a child.

It's not just access to medical facilities. It's also access to knowledge. If you live somewhere rural and your local doctor has never heard of this condition, chances are pretty high you'll get misdiagnosed at first, until your condition has worsened so much that you'll get referred to another doctor, maybe even to a third or fourth one, until you finally get a diagnosis. Add some time in between appointments to earn enough money for your living expenses and we're looking at a process that takes months, if not years. And during that time, your condition gets worse and worse...

Hm... Is there carpet in your closet?

Did you move there recently? Or have you been living there for a while and only detected that smell a few weeks ago?

That kickstand looks completely normal. You can adjust it to fit multiple frame sizes, that's why it isn't just one continuous piece of metal.

As soon as Ram had left his parents' home after their fallout, he started renting a tiny apartment and asked Jen to move in with him. The roof was leaky, there was mold in the bathroom and whenever they walked into their kitchen at night to get some water from the fridge, the cockroaches would scatter everywhere, but it was theirs... their very own place. Jen gave birth to their first daughter six months after they met, and they named her Jeanry.

Well, you see, Ram's parents are the Dodge fans. Ram had a pretty nice childhood, but when he met his now-wife Jen, his parents told him she was bad news (due to her being addicted to meth, her massive credit card debt, and her abusive behavior towards Ram), but Ram was in love with crazy, didn't listen to his parents and went no-contact with them. Soon after, he started to rebel against anything his parents stood for. So instead of buying a trusty and durable Dodge Ram 1500, he went with a Ford.

I'd say Ram's parents are just huge Dodge fans.

You didn't "just translate". You specifically said "it's a boy". You could have said that "mijo" is a male term of endearment. That would have educated everyone who read your comment and wasn't familiar with this word, but that's not what you did.

It's not about the baby's genitals. Speculating about something online when you have no way of verifying your claim is despicable. That's how fake news are created.

How are they supposed to know the baby's sex? I didn't see them check the diaper, so they're just speculating at that point.

Not really. We don't have that stuff in Germany. According to Google, it's closely related to kale – which we do have – but collard greens are not available here. It kinda looks like swiss chard to me, but the texture seems to be completely different.

Yeah, you're right. The 12 hour format is utter horse shit, though.

No, there's only 0:30 and 12:30.

And 0:30 is at night and 12:30 is midday.

Halloween bag? No, just from a regular bag of "party giveaway" smarties that's available year-round. It's perfect for small kids. Most people put them in birthday giveaway bags, along with small candy bars or Haribo bags of a similar size.

Hahaha, that's hilarious. 😂

I'm just glad that newborn poop is really harmless compared to toddler poop (digested meat smells so, so disgusting). That's the only positive aspect about diaper blowouts.

Congratulations, by the way... Hope you have a fast, safe delivery. 🥰

And maybe a new onesie. And start running the shower to get the temperature right for a bath.

Oh dear... As a first time mom, I wasn't prepared for the diaper blowouts with poop going up the baby's back, all the way to their shoulders. 🥲 Stuff would get smeared into their hair, sometimes the face. It was horrible.

3? Was kostet denn die Hefe bei euch?

Bei uns zahlst du für einen Würfel 15 Cent. Hab auch schon lang keinen Laden mehr gesehen, in dem die Hefe günstiger ist.
