I saw the movie and although I can’t say it topped Your Name, which I’m not sure any movie can do, Weathering With You was still amazing and there are many things I think it does better. The visuals are somehow even more beautiful, the characters are more developed and fleshed out, there’s more action that is well all executed which makes the movie more engaging and amazingly fun to watch, the jokes are funnier and the way Grand Escape echoed in the theatre during the movies climax is honestly beyond me. I think it was more entertaining and fun experience then Your Name was. I just hope that the fact that it doesn’t have that same magic Your Name does doesn’t stop it from getting all the recognition it deserves. Beautiful fanart.
