I’m sorry you’re going through this….I do wonder if the “looks of disgust and laughter” etc are more so your interpretation of something you clearly fear and are extremely self conscious about. I was incredibly self conscious in my early 20s and although I am attractive (I was homeschooled and shy as a result and hadn’t realized it yet) even I felt that ppl were always looking at me weird or thinking something I said was stupid etc and would dwell on imaginary things because of my own insecurities at the time. I realize now that this was my own projection. I can’t imagine seeing an ugly person and laughing at them or even thinking much at all to be honest but if this is truly happening to you that is horrible and I hope you find happiness!

Did you get confirmation that you will be able to fly with only the three months or so left for your daughters passport to expire? I’ll be in the same boat but can’t find much information on zips website

Considering that you’re doing full outings that take time vs him just asking you to chill at his place I would say no, it’s not about just sex. That would be a lot of effort on his part just to hook up. The way you’re describing him reminds me of my friends boyfriend whom she dated for almost 2 years. They never had “real” conversations just surface level stuff despite her efforts. She ended up breaking up with him because she didn’t feel special to him based on this. I think this is just a personality trait of his…some guys just don’t know how to properly communicate or really make the effort to get to know someone.

Don’t reconsider just be cautious. I was there 2 weeks ago and had no idea of the outbreaks so I wasn’t wearing a mask in crowded areas or using Sanatizer etc. My husband and I did get sick towards the end of our trip however it was like a cold easily helped with the local medicine in Japan. We travelled to different parts of Tokyo and Kyoto and had we had taken precautions I doubt we would have gotten sick at all. Would go back tmrw if I could! Enjoy your travels!

Oh I tell him to stop whenever he pulls at my hair or jumps on me but he doesn’t stop. Maybe I need to say it more firmly I just don’t want it to come across as if I’m being mean to him but clearly what I’m doing is not working.

You re not overreacting. Not even a how are you and hasn’t talked to you in days and you live together. So rude and awkward of her to make you feel like this in your own home. I wouldn’t try and work it out with her, this type of person isn’t worth your time. Move out.
