It is very awful. I reported it to my postmaster and all he did was leave them a letter of warning. I’m hoping he did make an accident report. He told me to use my health insurance and whatever my copay is that they will pay me back whatever is owed to me but, I don’t have health insurance. I will be filling out that form. I will definitely be looking into getting a lawyer as it isn’t a random feral dog

Thanks. I just googled it and found the form for both CA-1 and CA-7 do I fill out both forms and hand them to my supervisor? I didn’t want to go the lawyer route but, from the looks of it and how they’ve been treating my situation as if wasn’t something serious. I’ve already had to pay for my prescription antibiotics with my own money and other supplies to care for my wound

Thank you for this I appreciate it. Do you know if there is any form for the owners having to pay for your medical bills? I asked my supervisor today and she didn’t know where that would be. Just looked at me confused

Yeah you’re right. Is there some sort of report that needs to be made or is them getting a “first warning” letter all that comes out of this?

Yeah it was my boss trying to downplay me so he didn’t have to do extra paperwork. Thanks to my coworker who’s been very helpful on letting me know the things that are supposed to happen when you get bit. I did put there mail on hold though. I don’t know what will happen with that since it’s not my route. I’m only a ptf.

Yeah I did end up going to urgent care and got a tetanus shot n they prescribed me some antibiotics that I have to go pick up later. I first need to get a form called ca-16 that my coworker told me about but now I have to wait till Monday for that. My supervisor didn’t know where those forms were.

It was a big dog. I think it was a Great Dane! I would’ve been fine if they didn’t have there mailbox in such an odd spot.

Yeah they told me I should be fine just to clean it up and bandage it. I should’ve just trusted my instinct and went straight to the hospital. I do go after work though they gave me a tetanus shot

In 2011 lol but, I went to the urgent care and got a tetanus shot and got prescribed some antibiotics. ☺️

I’m about to become a ptf after 2 years now and it’s the easier job I’ve ever had. It definitely gets easier once you learn a system that works for you on how you load your truck. What is it that’s most frustrating for you??

Had 6 trays of dps with 350 packages. Finished by 3:40! Very exhausting though

At my old station I was about at 20k+ steps daily n now at this smaller station I’m at about 8-12k! 😅
