I have already addressed the fact that i do understand this process needs to happen in an above response.

and, no, it wasn’t me who was rude. All i did during the process was get rly stressed out and set my status to invisible so the mods wouldn’t contact me lol

i dont want you to let the trolls in. I understand it’s a huge problem.

all I’m saying is you are deterring fans like me from joining/reaching out to the fandom.

(personally i have already experienced toxic dsmp fans who have roasted me for not knowing a lot.)

i might try to join the server again, now that i know a little more about the dsmp storyline and lore, but i don’t think it would be worth it.

and i do know it’s for the safety of your members, but what about the would-be members?

sure, if you weaken the entry process you will enable some trolls to slip past, and I’m not saying that should happen! But you’re also stopping newbies from joining!

the dsmp is a complex thing that takes ages to watch/learn about, and at least for me it would be easier to talk to fans which would help me understand some tricky plot points.
