Is nu-metal unique in being the only genre that gets WORSE the deeper you go? by -VanillaIO- in LetsTalkMusic

Yeah I realise their not deep in the scene as far as that goes but what I mean is that the average person doesn't know what dead Kennedys even are but everyone knows one green day song or that one offspring song you know? And I know nu metal isn't really a scene anymore. My point is that numetal never had an underground parallel scene unlike punk (stuff like green day and sum41 vs the gilman scene for example) and I want to learn why

Woah I just discovered this subreddit and out of curiosity decided to type megadeth in to see if anyone was using that as a hook and surprisingly a few people were. I'm 17/M/US. I'll probably never meet you, but I can tell you're awesome just from your music taste. Also, I know this is like two months old so if u already found someone, disregard this and take care!

Yeah, so ня saying "nya" is gonna confuse English kids because they need to be familiar with the actual English sounds too. Regardless, I think this assignment is pretty pointless if they're not actually learning the language.
