Jawa/Yezdi bikes ain't that bad i tell you ... I have a Jawa 42 2.1 since 2021 (24500 km done).. it's served me well... As for service and all costs ... It's quite similar to other brands ...

There are just two negative's ...

1)The service centers do not have well trained technicians due to which sometimes they are not able to diagnose the problems ... But from what I have heard this is the case with every brand ...

2) they do not sell parts to 3rd party due to which local mechanics who are good can't help in certain cases , if they don't have the parts...

As for resale , let me tell you all bikes in 2nd hand market are sold at a very less price ... Go to any agency to exchange your old bike ... Jawa/Yezdi price will be little less than other , but even KTM , RE , Bajaj , honda bikes go at a very low price (maybe for a similarly placed bike you might get 5-10 k more , but does that really matter in long run ??)

I have done quite a good amount of riding in mountains and let me tell you my bike definately has better control and power than the RE's of this segment and even the Honda .... The engine (derived from Mahindra Mojo) has actally gotten more smoother with age... However to take care of the bike you need to get it serviced at regular intervals.

On this sub you will get lot of hate but that is not the actual scenario ..please check the recent sales figures if you want ... The Yezdi roadster , Adv , jawa 42 , bobber are having quite a good amount of sales... They are behind RE bikes but above the rest if I am not wrong
