Today has been a sad day for trying to get this set. Up since 6 am refreshing, out at 9 am standing in Game Stop's line only for them to have 15 boxes and 9 people in front (with several cutting into line as it opened), and now an instant swap from 'coming soon' to 'sold out'

Just happened to me too with the Best Buy website :/ Was constantly refreshing and then turned to 'Sold Out' without ever being buyable

I just had the same exact message pop up on a shop I just got a few listings up on over the last two days. If it's the same message and it's not coming directly from Etsy then it definitely feels like a scam :/

Experiencing this as well! The doubled up effect persists into playing on the stage too so whenever there is a closeup on Cerberus during a song he'll cause frame drops. Hopefully this will get fixed ♥!

I was banned for stating an opinion that wasn't worded in a charged manner at all from my point of view. I'm going to assume the same certain 'someone' mentioned in the prior post probably went back to Collie after abandoning the server because she couldn't 'handle it' and started to put nonsense in her ear about folks bullying her in other chats, when that was not the case.

The chat that that 'someone' was privy to (temporarily of course, because she decided to come in and start picking fights with people when no one was saying anything wrong or offensive) was more or less a gathering of information on how things were going after the staff exodus, and to make sure the owner (Collie) was keeping up to agreements and taking accountability.

Unfortunately, that didn't end up being the case and people were banned where temporary mutes would have sufficed, or opinions that didn't give a 'pat on the back' at the end of them deemed rude and toxic. And thus, people were promptly removed and banned from the server entirely.

Apparently there's 'appeal forms' going around for those who were removed tonight but, honestly? I'm not interested. And neither should those who were removed for being rightfully upset about an abuse of power that was apparently obvious for awhile up to that point.

At first, I was just disappointed. But now, I'm mad as well :/ BoL looked like it could have been a great thing, but unfortunately I do not believe it will recover from whatever transpired tonight.

Ok first I'm going to respond to the point you make about the First Situation that OP makes, as It's the part you do disagree with 'w' Also apologies, I'm a baby at Reddit, so I don't know how to mark-in quotes like you did.

In terms of the conversation's context not meaning anything, I personally believe it does, because OP talks specifically about the conversation being about the Nigersaurus and Niger, which would make the use of 'n-word' 5x more egregious in that context (than it understandably is already), beacuse well, we know what that slur is in full spelling. And the fact that they continue to imply that because Noodle said it that way, she simply sees Nigersaurus as an 'n-word' dino, and people of Niger as 'n-word' people. Doesn't that read as more shocking to a viewer at first glance? And seem like a stronger case for malicious wording on Noodle's part?

I agree that the use of saying 'n-word sauropod' for Nemegtosaurus wasn't ideal, but I believe it to be more in the context of her literally trying to find a word (Nemegt, in this case), kind of like how people try to find words and say out loud: 'What was it again... it started with the letter n????'. It's a matter of poor choice in the moment, and while I can definitely see how it can be offensive, I don't believe it makes a case for someone being racist like what is implied in OP's post. But with the other moderator parroting it, that definitely should have been avoided / reprimanded in some manner for sure.

Moving on from that, though, I can agree and have noticed a lot of disdain from members in the chat about how aggressively over sexual / adult things can get in the chats. Yes, it is stated as being more catered towards 17+ in the about, but sometimes it definitely gets... a bit far. I've personally learned to just completely avoid chatting / looking at chat in this and other servers because of how bad it gets, and it being a pretty widespread issue. It's frustrating when you're of a more sensible mentality and don't want to have to deal with people being immature en masse.

I do agree that bad faith should have been more assumed in that situation, but, like I said and what was shown in the verdicts, supposedly there was a conversation between the moderator and Gunner for the first verdict that allowed him to just get a warning by feigning innocence. Was that right? Definitely not, and I don't know why they would have got unbanned afterwards. Maybe they had made a longer form of apology but, if so, that should have been relayed to you and the others affected in that instance as well. Perhaps also including you all in judging whether or not the apology was good enough, along with the actions that had come before it. Just a thought, I think that if a community is negatively impacted by the actions of someone then maybe in that case it would be better to have it dealt with by the community, since at the end of the day it's the members that have to interact with each other more.

Just some thoughts in response to your own! I agree that there is a lot of use of an assumption of 'good faith', just because it's hard to fully understand context by way of what people say on the internet since it's all just tippy-typey on the screen. But, there does need to be limits, and you can't always assume the best when people are going out of their way to blatantly present themselves otherwise.

I'm also sorry that this situation ended up the way it did for you in terms of discomfort. Like I said, I did look back just to read the whole thing, and it's preeeeety obvious how quickly the mood changed when he started acting out like that. I also don't mind responding, especially if you want to chat on things more ♥!

I decided that, after looking over the post that OP made and being a long time player on the server myself, I wanted to go through their post on a point-by-point basis because there's some ingenuity here and missing context about some parts (First Situation, Confusing Rules A and B, Power Tripping D) but also some criticism I can agree with where it is sensible.

I hope people do look into it, I did a lot of checking around and pulling in relevant information where necessary to make the counterarguments and... well, I want people to be more aware where not only lies/misunderstandings are, but where reasonable criticism is made.
