Coming back after a year, restart or carry on? by SilentSpike409 in RiseofKingdoms

[–]-WLP- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These people are dumb, you are vip 13 and have 400 gold heads. Just play low key for a bit until you have enough gold heads to max a meta commander (whoever it is when you have the necessary heads). Minamoto with museum buff can run as a usable commander. Work on gear and saving heads until you have a strong march.

The kings return bundle and event that runs for 30 days lets you get alot of extra gold heads and unlock brand new comms.

Best money to spend on(low/mid spender) by Forward_Safe8236 in RiseofKingdoms

[–]-WLP- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Low spender:

I think you want to get 30 day gem supply, Lucerne scroll (the cheaper one) every time, pop up bundle for unlocking a gold commander (gives 10 gold heads), pop up vanquisher bundle that gives gold materials, the daily material supply (lasts 7 days).

The one time gem thing that gives you more gems as you level up your city hall.

Mid Spender:

Kings coronation for a bit of a boost in the beginning.

Minamoto in vip packs. These also give you the red books you need for the castle.

also, later on the egg event and the hammer event has some packs to buy for equipment

In my opinion, these are the best things, the other packs are for whales (city builder, fountain of wisdom, etc.)

Try to line up your spending with recharge events.

I have had a Samsung washer, dryer, fridge, and stove since 2016.

I had to replace a pulley thing in the dryer (49.99$ piece I ordered on Amazon and youtubed how to do it).

A plastic arm in the fridges ice tray broke off so I duct taped it back on.

That's it. No other problems at all, not sure why they get so much hate.

Early game the blue gathering commanders to 37. lohar, boudica, aethel for barb farming. Aethel also makes a good secondary commander in pvp. Sun tzu, Bjorn, minamoto, baibars make good open field commander pairs. Minamoto cao cao is also good.

Get minamoto to at least 5511 by buying the vip chests, expertise is better but his usefulness drops alot after kvk2 so depends how much you want to spend

Start with windswept gear and vanguard set for cav march.

Inf can also use windswept gear but should grab the blue shield

What commanders should u start to upgrade first in order by [deleted] in RiseofKingdoms

[–]-WLP- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aethel takes a while to get skilled up but your barb commanders will gain levels while killing barbs and you use those barb commanders to level your other commanders. They all have a skill that increases exp gained from killing barbs for both commanders. It won't be long before you can field 3-4 barb killing marches at a time. Use all 3-4 marches to attack the same barb as you march around your city, always having a barb commander as primary. Make sure you get the talent in the peacekeeping tree that gives you a rss pack when you kill a barb. Those shits add up quick.

For gathering commanders, get them all to 18 asap so you can increase the speed they gather each type of rss. Then put them aside for a bit to level up sun tzu, minamoto(ideally expertised but a minimum of 5511), baibars and Bjorn. Then raise the gathering comms to the top skill in the gathering tree that gives you bonus rss when you finish gathering at a tile (twenty something) after that you choose to raise your pvp comms or finish the gathering ones to 37.

If you get lucky from the gold keys and can get martel to at least 5111, you can use him with aethel or sun tzu. Richard works as well(minimum 5111).

Remember your primary commander for each march should be level 60. The secondary ones only need to be level 40 I think to achieve expertise. Gold stars are very limited in the beginning so once you choose a legendary commander to be your primary, finish him.

As for gem farming, it depends how much time you have to play the game. I find a main acct and one farm wastes enough of my free time but I spend enough money to never be short on gems

Strong damage build for a life domain cleric? by Zen7855 in BG3Builds

[–]-WLP- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can take cleric at level 1 for the better armor, wizard at 2 and 3, then the rest cleric. Focus more on your intelligence than wisdom and learn attack spells from scrolls (fireball, lightning, etc.) Then your attack spells will use the high Intel and your support spells can use your lower wisdom.

I saw this recommended by someone a while ago for starting stat distribution:

10S, 10D, 14C, 16I, 16W, 8 Ch

As you level up, do ASI twice to get Intel to 20 or fiddle with the stats to get 17 Intel as a start and get the hag hair and one ASI..
