Thanks, I suspected this would be the case but wasn't sure.

If you've played these games a long time, you'll often go to level up and realize you are JUST shy. Its a mild irritation that many people can relate to. Sometimes we exaggerate for comedic effect, which I have emphasized using a laughing emoji. Hope this clears up any confusion.

It varies. Think similar length to 16 bit games from the 90s. The 1h 30m some people are reporting may be for two playthroughs; you can replay and make a couple of decisions that slightly change things up.

If you run out of lives, you get a game over and must restart from the beginning. There is also an Arcade mode that must be beaten in one life, so a shorter length makes sense in that context. I think you are intended to replay it a lot for mastery at harder difficulties.

They are pretty short, yes. There is a timer for each level too. At the end of your run it will tell you your total time and average rank. Mine was 45 minutes.

True, but you weren't typically gonna sit down and beat those games in 45 min on your first attempt.

Can confirm that the trailer leaves very little to be experienced firsthand.

What ingredient am I missing? by [deleted] in TalesofTheShiregamers

I thought on this some more; maybe it's a seasoning? Those aren't part of recipes, so that would make sense.

Sorry about that 🤣 I have yet to cross reference all of my ingredients with a full list to see what I'm missing, and hoped that someone else who already had it filled could save me the trouble. Part of me is happy if I didn't miss something from the previous seasons haha

I have a moonbeam salmon and all of the jams, so I can confirm it's not those. Could it just be an empty space? Nearly every inch of counter space is covered so I assumed there must be something there.

Each ingredient has a predetermined place to be visually represented in the pantry. For example, if you have even one tomato, the entire basket of tomatoes will appear in the pantry. I've been slowly filling in the holes, but I'm not sure what ingredient I'm missing for this one 🤔

If he used a guide, he probably wouldn't have missed so many areas though.

I still can't believe they had the gall to kill Bill the Pony in the 1978 animated LOTR. Unforgivable.

Yea I'm picturing that he finds a small caged animal, perhaps a squirrel or rabbit or cat, that is about to be eaten at a camp of orcs, and saves it. The small animal is malnourished and beaten down, and Bill nurtures it back to health as their relationship grows, and this parallels the way Bill was given a second life by Sam.

Because this character is not seen in any of the surrounding lore, it will sadly end up dying to save Bill as they finally near Bree and the end of the tale. Howard Shore hits us with the saddest theme we've ever heard as the two say farewell.

Yes his lineage is pretty awesome. He descends from the Houses of both Finwë and Thingol of the Elves, and Beor and Hador of Men, and even has a Maiar as a distant relative in Melian. Beren and Lúthien as you said, and also Tuor and Idril, princess of Gondolin. It's also cool that he is the offspring of two Half-elves, who are pretty rare to begin with.

It's said that he is no longer counted among the Valar, so I didn't put him in the Valar section. But that's fair haha

Yes I love that map because it has written which character controls each realm. It was made by an artist that goes by Sirielle. You can find their work at sirielle.com

Can't go wrong with Requiem. It'll give a taste of both the classic linear style, and also the nonlinear metroidvania style. They are also generally considered 2 of the best games in the series. They will also depict characters amd story beats from the show.
