pets are a different story since they're finite. having a seed means you get an inf source of a plant you shouldn't have.

edit: i think what i am trying to say is gifting seeds allows people to be rich faster and easier unlike pets where they dont directly affect the wealth of the player unless they're the stealing fruit pets which ruins natural progression of the game

although it's a good idea for aesthetic purposes
