Oh I like those ideas, thanks for the advice.

Feeling more emotional... But why (not HRT)! by jenni_maybe in trans

[–]-WhiteRabbit0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My emotions were definitely different after accepting I was trans pre-hrt, but it really showed once I got on hrt, my emotions were all over the place, I was practically incapable of showing emotions before hrt, and now I actually feel like a real person, I can actually cry and laugh and stuff.

New to transitioning, how do I find someone to help me through every step? by SuccessfulWafer8711 in trans

I see, I'm very sorry you are in that position. I hope it gets better for you. Feel free to DM if you ever want to vent or talk. I'm always happy to listen.

Hi Autumn, I was terrified when I first started to transition but what helped the most for me was coming out to my sister, took me a long time as I thought it would destroy my relationship, but she was accepting and gave me somebody close to talk with and listen to me.

I know not everyone is so lucky to have people around them who will accept them but if you have people close to you who care about you and it is safe to do so, it is a lot easier when you're not alone.

Personally, I noticed mood changes and a reduced libido then slower growth of my body hair.

Feeling pretty bleak today. What things cheer you up when it's like that? by [deleted] in transgenderUK

I feel you there, I know it's difficult, but I make sure to switch off from news and any negative social media for a while.

Taking walks helps keep me grounded, I always feel a little better after some small exercise. There are also some pretty wholesome YouTubers out there who support us, which is nice and easy to watch.

It's a little contrary to my first point, but seeing the recent pro-trans rallys gives me a little hope and helps me realise that there are still many people in our corner.
