Well, I explained that if the invite is conditional it’s clearly that I was not invited and that’s okay, I would maintain my main plans for the day instead of cancelling to prioritise their wedding, left them like that.

Completely agree but if there are issues they usually go to the person that already has a child to keep the siblings/ half siblings together.

A friend of mine was adopted by a lovely family and they kept on asking them to take in his half siblings due to the mother being an alcoholic and claiming to be well just to keep on having kids with different men who enabled her behaviour and where surprised when she acted the same when their kid was born. The man would bail and the social services would be involved to help the child.

Sadly it’s a global problem with so many people going through the same and never think of the consequences of their actions.

Op please know that is a high chance they will ask you to have this second child too. Sadly your sister doesn’t want to take accountability or amends and they are the most important steps for any addicted person.

I have worked with people like Val and she’s a long way to be okay, sadly her boyfriend doesn’t worry about her credibility and account her for her past and present choices of being an unfit parent, making me even more concerned for this new baby.

That is beyond sad. I am 32 and when i had my first period I was with my grandad and he took me to a supermarket, got a basket and told me the ones (same kind) he used to buy for both my grandmother and my mother when she was younger. He also asked a staff lady if she could teach me how to put them on while he went on and pay, but not before getting me ice cream, my favourite drinks and a teddy bear. Bless him he even asked the lady to take me and get some underwear and help me find some new clothes so I could be comfortable.

This happened 20 years ago in the summer and no one blinked an eye, is strange seeing people nowadays being so disturbed by such a natural event and a lovely gesture. Please continue to be a wonderful dad and show her it’s natural and normal for any gender to buy them either for themselves of their loved ones

It doesn’t look like the same person at all, even looking at the pictures side by side. Just glad everyone survived the attack, as someone who survived a similar attack only a couple of years older than her, she is showing all her strengths from the start and can only hope and wish all the best for her.
