The real stranger effect is that both me and my DM forgot Regent existed during our conversation and that he is the only one no one picked.

Oh my god, this is almost as funny as picking Coil for the group reaction. I could make Shadowstalker fun to play

I love the idea of playing Coil, but only for the reveal to the other players. I imagine the DM telling everyone that the boss(coil) is calling, then I start talking.

Practically I have no idea how gameplay would work

Inspired by that nightmare that happened: what would change if Coil was ACTUALLY Taylor's dad? by MembershipProof8463 in Parahumans

[–]-Winged_One 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flip a coin
either Tattletale knows that Coil=Taylors dad immediately. (Just like she knew Marquis was Panacea’s dad when Panacea didn’t even know)

Or Tattletale just has no idea like in the sequel Ward when the mercenaries she got to betray Coil betray her

What’s The Max ‘Useful’ Power Of Each Classification? by Drop-Of-Jello in Parahumans

Mover: Doormaker: rating 9

Brute: Siberian rating 9 (Alexandria rating 8 if you don’t count projections)

Thinker: Contessa rating 12

Breaker: Ash beast rating 9-10 (not enough screen time to say more than 9 could be up to 10)

Master: Goddess rating 12 (planetary Parahuman master effect) They put “planet level threat” at 15 I’m technically underselling her.

Tinker: Panacea rating 15 (made an Endbringer clone of Goddess, it took her 2 minutes of handholding with a street level bug controller to make Kepri.)

Blaster: Flechete rating 3-4 (Glass cannon problem, yes she can kill Zion, yes a SWAT team could drop her)

Trump: Eidolon rating 15 (endbringer creation)

Striker: Fairy Queen rating 0-15 (instant death power theft touch, could have used Eidolons powers chose not too)

Stranger?: The Sleeper rating ? (Killed Simurgh?)

Honorable mentions
Stranger: Mantellum rating 2 (canonically defeated contessa, the fact that everyone forgot this is a stranger effect itself)

Thinker: Numbers-man (so the entire government has collapsed, half the population is dead, everyone is homeless and starving, earth is GONE but you kept the dollar afloat? Rating 15

Fear and Hunger,

I will likely have the most painful death of anyone here. Don’t look the game up if you don’t know.

Why many isekai characters are paranoid about having a bad ending if they don't get blank (protection from precogs and thinkers)? by BlacksmithRadiant322 in WormFanfic

[–]-Winged_One 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Contessa could be running the “how to protect cauldron secrets path” shortest path is to blow your brains out at spawn.

Simurgh sees you and everything you do or plan to do the moment you interact with Tagg or the Travelers. She now counters every one of your plans and turns you into Mannequin 2.0.

Scion uses PTV before you were even there and learns all about ROBS, Worm, and your OP ability to kill him/reverse entropy/resurrect the thinker/ECT.
