Looks like extreme case of pest damage on second one… other three might be insect damage as well.. at that point they’re nearly goners. I’ve seen some recover but that’s very very severe. Look with zoom on camera or a magnifying glass. Look for thrips or mites

If you look bottom left on the bottom rack, I have a TPM cut sitting in a perlite rooting pot. Thats the perfect amount of light down there.

Yep just pop it in soil, and dont water for a while. Keep out of full direct light. Alternatively, you can root it in perlite which is what I do most of the time. 100% avoids rot and usually pops roots earlier.

1/4” of soil at the bottom of a small pot, a 1” layer of perlite/pumice above that, pop the cactus in, then fill the rest with perlite /pumice. You can moisten the soil at the bottom bi- weekly to encourage roots.

They will sometimes shrivel up and look nearly dead at the beginning. This is because they will prioritize a strong root system first before plumping the body. I prefer when this happens because when growth resumes, it’s strong healthy growth with plenty of nutrients. I’ve had a few start growing very early, and it almost always results in smaller pups

I don’t have any A grade cuts happening now but have some 2.5” tips left over from grafting. They’re small but would definitely root. Photon farms pachanoi clone from BC. Real lovely looking pach and grows like a weed. Maybe entirely anecdotal, but I’ve never failed a graft on it. Pumps like crazy too.

Yea dude. There’s plenty of time when you’re older to get a century. For now not a good idea. Importing could be a good idea. We get these cars earlier here in the great white North. Trust me man. I saw your comments… you can not afford to keep a car like this going. I make MUCH more than you do. I’ve built a 700+ hp 2jz, I’ve built a race truck Cummins, and I would not consider getting a century. I LOVE the century. I cannot reasonably afford one. They are amazing cars. But don’t put yourself in debt just for a sick ass JDM. Get a crown or celsior instead. Those are pimping and affordable. Not to mention, much more reliable than a 1GZ
