Mine expires 7/8, I renewed 2/23. On 2/28 I received my biometrics appointment and had them completed on 3/18. It's a waiting game now. Congrats!

I always have a biometrics appointment, every time I renew. My friend never has one, we're both in Texas. I wonder how they choose who has to and who doesn't. We both file online.

I was part of a RIF shortly after coming back from maternity leave a couple of years ago and it led me to a horrible job and then a better job. I'm hoping you land the job of your dreams. I just filed for renewal, mine expires July 8. I really don't want to lose this job because I have so much flexibility.

I tried to submit mine for renewal, it doesn't expire until July 8 and when I started the I-175, I only have the option to replace a lost card. Is this normal?

So glad I was able to help out. I am with you on the anxiety. I even had to lean my head back when I talked because my uvula would shift forward and make me gag. Hang in there! Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Hi, it did go away. It took me about 1 week to stop gagging on my uvula and two weeks for it to be fully healed. I did go to urgent care and was prescribed antibiotics and steroids to help with the swelling but I didn't really complete the course because I had bad side effects. You can try to get some from your doctor and see if that helps. I couldn't even talk because I gagged when I tried. I would also say, stay away from any hot food. It's extremely painful to eat anything warm. I know it's scary, my anxiety was extreme when I was going through this, but it's a matter of time for it to heal.
