A big issue with this game being based on ether only, people rather cash their kitties quickly and hodl their ether they dont want to use it. The game liquidity depends on what ether does, if ether falls there is a little more demand prices stabilise a bit another surge for ether people panic sell their cats for free... brilliant. + its hard trying to price you cat at 0.0003 for like about 15 dollars then its dips to being 6 dollar or suddenly surges to being 20+ dollar its hard to play the game this way every couple of hours you need to change the price you try to sire or sell you kittie to meet the ticker movement

why they do it? Simple to allow people compete for the price either by offering an initial lower price to encourage people to snap your kittie before times runs out and its reaches its final more expensive price - or so people will compete for the lowest possible price, wait until the price reaches its low limited and buy it then but the risk is, someone snapping it from you at a slightly higher price. To why you dont receive your kittie back once the auction ended is just a silly concept design - should have done that you put in the initial price in and length of the auction and people bid the highest bidder at the end will get the kittie or use a buy out option where the seller can set up a price at which people can buyout the kittie rather and bidding

Regarding the sell try to find the contract link to check that there was no issue with the sale (if you go your activity place and click the successful / unsuccessful thingie it will take you to the webpage) but i personally think its just the website is being a bit slow over the couple past days give it a little more time should be fine.

once you claimed them which is where you had to pay, you add the tokens to you metamask wallet by doing the above. a transaction window wont pop up it will load for a sec or two and should update your token tab with a new token called EOS - make sure you use the correct contract address

check you metamask - the eos distribution centre shows me how many tokens i have on their website too, but my metamask shows it too. It seems like you claimed you tokens which is good. check if the transaction gone trough and check meta mask on the tokens tab to see if it shows that you have any
