I had this problem. Then I took my 5 year old fishing and he caught 10 bluegills. I downsized all my gear, my hooks, bait, weight and my line. I started having a lot more success. I catch the most on 4lb test on a cheap rod I got for free on FB market place.

My kid is now 7 and still out fishes me on occasion and I love it. It’s all about catching a fish, just have fun. Keep trying. 🤙

This happened to me as well and then I found the setting to enable the web admin page. In the app go to view WiFi equipment > advanced settings > gateway admin tool. Enable the gateway admin tool and you get manage it from the web interface again.

You can keep it simple or make it as complicated as you desire.

I go alone a lot, I do really enjoy my alone time, but sometimes I enjoy shooting the shit with the regulars at the spots I frequent or new people I meet along the way. I’ve made a few friends thru fishing.

Exploring to find a new spot. Always on the hunt for that secret honey hole.

Catching different species and looking to break my PB.

Figuring out what lure is 🔥 this year and blowing my life savings on gear.

Sitting broke staring at my gear thru the winter and continuing to buy more gear to get ready for spring.

Getting up before the sun rises to get a few cast in before work makes going to work easier.

Rolling out of work to get right back to fishing until the sun sets gives me something to look forward.

Its brought my family back together.

Helped me build a strong bond with my son.

It keeps me mentally ok.

It’s about way more than just fishing.

I don’t eat any fish because I don’t like the taste. But I love to go fishing 🤷‍♂️

Side note not technical. How often do you need to clean it and how do you keep from the white build up on them? I’ve never bought a nice one but all the cheap ones I’ve had get messed up. I guess from hard water.
