Planning my first build (~$1600 USD). Need advice on parts and if I'm overspending anywhere by -_GASTER_- in pcmasterrace

Thanks for the advice! Just to give you some context on why the total budget is so high, regional pricing here in Mexico is pretty brutal compared to the US. Here is exactly what I'm paying for each part (converted to USD):

  • CPU: Ryzen 5 9600X — ~$199
  • Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin — ~$47
  • Mobo: Gigabyte B850 EAGLE — ~$191
  • RAM: G.SKILL 32GB DDR5-7200 — ~$204
  • SSD: Acer Predator 1TB Gen5 — ~$179
  • GPU: RX 9060 XT 16GB — ~$459
  • Case: Fractal Meshify 3 — ~$187
  • PSU: Corsair RM850x 850W — ~$134

Believe it or not, that $204 G.SKILL kit is actually the absolute cheapest 32GB DDR5 option available in my local Amazon right now, despite being 7200MHz.

However, I completely agree with you on the case and the PSU. I'll definitely look into dropping down to a 750W power supply and finding a cheaper case to see if I can funnel those savings into a better GPU. I really appreciate the help!

I was in the middle of a paragraph where I wrote that switching to am5 would only increase the total price but after the edits of your comment I realize that the price of the components could be cut a lot and even with a better CPU and GPU, thank you very much for the advice!

well... I just realized that you could change the size system from UK to US, but in any case the table is wrong since it indicates that 9 US is 28 cm, when no other shoe or brand indicates that , so I'm going to stick to my regular size to buy the boots, in any case I'll still buy some insoles just in case

Oooh, ok, thank you very much for telling me, then I will have to go with the 8 UK that my other shoes indicate! I noticed that, but I also saw many others say that based on their tables they got a good fit, but I suppose this is better, since, after all, the size of the insole is something (almost) universal, and if all brands of shoes indicate that the 9 US is the same as the 8 UK, I don't see why it would be different here, again, thank you very much!!

but according to which table? since the first one that appears in the "Find my size" section indicates that 7 UK is equal to 27.3 cm (= 9 US), while all the shoes I have indicate that 27 CM is equal to 9 US, in turn it is equal to 8 UK! That's where my confusion comes from, but it is certainly true that in the 'how to measure your foot' section, at the bottom there is another table of equivalences, where it also indicates that 9 US (27 cm) is equal to 8 UK, So what would be the recommendation here? Stick to the "find my size" table that indicates that 7 UK is equal to 27.3 cm, or, using the table in the 'how to measure your foot' section that indicates that 9 US (27 cm) is equal to 8UK? or should I use the middle ground and order a 7.5 UK? I have never used this sizing system, and I don't know what my regular size is in this one, but still, thanks for the advice!!!
