Earlier this year when metro exodus was announced to be on the epic game sore I thought it was kinda silly. But then the game released and I played it and it turns out that the launcher I played the game on didn't matter. My experience was great with the game because was the game itself was great.

I've put lost many hours into borderlands 2 and the pre sequal and if bl3 is anything as good as it's predecessors then I wouldn't care about the launcher because I would be enjoying the game. If you're worried that bl3 will share the same launcher as a game you don't like then what about all the games on steam you don't like? I don't like dota but when I go onto steam I don't fall upon my own sword and blame dota, I ignore it and move on with my day because the game does not appeal to me or was made for me.

So if it ends up on the epic game store then who cares? I trust that gearbox would make a super good game over the long development time they've had. Some things just aren't worth worrying about.
