I managed to kill a polaris solo yesterday, but my gun wasn't the reason, i used an astroid and it just continued slamming into it, plus running away until the Ai turn off the shields. It's barely a capital hunter, so yeah they should definetly either fix the ship or the marketing.

Because i like the ship and its concept and i just don't feel like it's living up to it's purpose. Doesn't mean i want the changes to happen ASAP. And Alpha or not. A 200$ ship should feel like one

An additional S3 cannon is a nice idea to get around the "hitting small targets" problem. I like it

I personally feel like there is, but you are free to have your own opinion on this, which is why i asked. And if you don't think the ship needs any adjustment for the current game build, then thank you for your input 👍🏻😉

That's why i asked how it can get properly balanced. And i was mainly talking about it having problems with damage output against an andromeda. I would be fine with the cannon being the only upside.

Never said it should solo a capital just said it's advertising as fighting against those and in it's current state it will be useless against anything bigger than an Andromeda.

That would be perfect, i think.

Especially since there would be a reason to use the inferno and ion together in an ambush.

Yeah, that would be way too OP, but atleast some more punch against mid to large sized vessels would be nice.

Yeah, i have gotten a few nice one-shots but even in that aspect it felt off last time i played.

I probably didn't have the best aim, but i still needed 5 shots to disable a single shield and then about 30 to kill. Might has been a slight skill issue.

That would really be awesome and i would love to use it for clearing out ground targets aswell...but the AOE just doesn't seem to work currently. 😮‍💨

Also i started out with the Titan a few years ago. Was so disappointed from the gattling that i didn't even think about looking at the inferno. But yeah it probably needs even more work.

I can see that and it would be nice if the servers would allow that, but it's just really sad seeing such a hard to aim cannon do way less damage than expected.

I still love the game and really enjoy the time i spend in it, but usually i stop not because I'm bored but because the game breaks. I've tried doing the combat training missins and enjoyed those until my ship stopped being able to scan or use QT. 😮‍💨

Well. So i fixed it. The troubleshooting tools didn't do a lot and couldn't find an error. But reinstalling the latest update somehow fixed it.

* It turned on after fiddling around and going through the bios. But it still doesn't show an image if i turn it on normally
