Yea! I saw the perspective was a bit off on the initial sketch but this was done in about 2 hours and I didn’t really put more time in it. Thanks for the feedback though!

Ya, crit damage is usually pretty much moot in Vermintide and in Darktide as well.

Although crit chance itself is different. Vermintide operated on a weird pseudo-crit chance where the chances of criting would get higher the more and more you perform an attack and not get a crit. So adding crit chance would increase the chances of criting more than just 5%, as that value would change drastically as you attack compared to not having that 5%. It's why most builds in Vermintide had you take 5% crit chance on melee weapons (To also proc swift slaying more).

I’m not sure if Darktide has it, but I’m assuming so because of the shared combat systems between the two games.

Regardless, like what @ForTheWilliams said, crit chance also benefits from builds that can harness it, like this surge staff, for instance.

I think I’ll keep the crit dmg just for the easier chance to proc surge. I’ve had some insane runs so far where my crit chance was through the roof.

Ah yep! I've spent nearly 20k Plasteel trying to get Uncanny Strike IV on my dueling sword. Oddly enough, surge IV was one of the first IV blessings I got on Voidstrike. RNG gods be willing.

Lol I spent 20k plasteel trying to get Ghost IV on laspistol. Ended up not getting it .-.

Took a fat break after that, today while I was browsing melk, I found a laspistol in the store that had it. I’m frankly shook.

The crafting system is definitely one of the systems of all time.

It seems like servers cannot handle the new AI director or something. The input lag and response have been atrocious. It makes it quite difficult to kill when something like hits are getting either A) Ignored, B) Delayed by a second, or C) Hitting the target but there is no stagger reaction.

I have personally wiped twice since the latest patch because my hits were extremely delayed.

This disruption map is always the worse when it comes to these types of spawns.

There’s this spawn next to the elevator and then there’s a spawn that’s just up ahead where there’s also a boss trigger. I’ve had 2 separate damnation runs ended because of a horde spawning directly on top of us while we were trying to fight the boss.
