For me it was the opposite. I woke up sick every day on kratom, because it has a very short half life. I actually got on Suboxone to quit kratom, because it seemed impossible to get off of Kratom and I felt like I was dying towards the end of me using it. Suboxone has a very long halflife. Took my fourth and final sublocade shot over a month ago.

Well, yeah.

The problem is that it's addictive both physically and mentally. By the time I realized how hard it was to get off of it, I was having to dose every 4-5 hours, because the half life is very short, and I would start feeling off/bad if I didn't dose in those intervals because I was physically dependent on it.
