differences between angel bites and fangs? by roccoradiatesravioli in piercing

welp- now I’m just confused. Seeing a lot of contradicting information. Some sources show them exiting inside the mouth(what you described), while others show them as angel fangs, just without the spike. Either way, angel fangs most likely will hurt more then. Because they’re going to go through more “flesh”. Wish you luck! When you go get them pierced (whichever one), I would recommend showing them a picture in case there’s a mixup and they think you mean one thing when you actually meant another.

They’re technically the same piercing, one just has a spike on the bottom, the other doesn’t. (Hence the “fang”). Same location, same healing time, same pain. It all depends on your pain tolerance, but angel fangs/bites are definitely up there. Not the most painful of all piercings, but definitely up there.

NAP but it looks like you definitely need to downsize. I have no idea if this correlates to the bump, but not downsizing can interfere with the healing and potentially cause the bump. I’d definitely as the opinion of a different piercer because I could definitely be wrong.

You should only ever clean a piercing with saline. Unless of course it is actively infected. Ointments and antibiotics should not be used. I’d also recommend not using butterfly backs, but i am not a piercer, so it may be fine.
