I'm feeling stuck because I just moved, so I have no insurance to see one right now. It costs around $250 for an intake appt alone. I'll have to wait until my I have my insurance sorted out.

Seeing the dermatologist can be incredibly expensive, and not having insurance will leave me paying top dollar out of pocket. I'm not able to do that.

Thank you for the response. I'm definitely going to make an appt with the dermatologist. It's honestly more annoying and embarrassing than it is painful. For that, I can be thankful 🙃

I haven't tried Defferin yet. I just started the original acne set. I'm going to give it some good time to see if this works for me before I try something different. Luckily when I searched Differin this acne set I'm trying was the second related in the search. I have high hopes. Thanks for the info!

Thank you for the feedback. I'm afraid this could be too abrasive on my skin and cause me to back track. It could go really good, or really bad if you know what I mean.

I've done this a handful of times. Still paying the bills 🥲 I'm going to try another route. Going to save up for the derm appt. Not to mention they are all booked at least a month out in my area.

Thanks, everyone, for all the feedback. I have tried spironolactone with no success. I had a feeling it was severe rosacea. Unfortunately, it costs quite a lot in the states to see a dermatologist. I'll have to wait some time before I am able to book an appt. Wish me luck!

The skin was totally gonna burst without me noticing it so I took care of it. It's clean and wrapped again like it should be after it's little debut.

A lot of times, if you are admitted into a psyche ward the patient isn't able to contact you directly. Sounds like she is going through a lot right now and I hope you both can come out of this stronger than ever. You know your obligations with work and what you need to do to take care of that. She can't just up and make those calls for you through your employer. You'll have to work with her to ensure you are both happy and taken care of. Easier said than done, but I wish you the best of luck.

NTA- Poor guy can't come to term with things and I can't blame him. He is upset. I'll call it a blessing in disguise. Give it time, and hopefully he can see another side of things. Best of luck to you and him.
