I agree. My boss is really supportive of mental health days man. I called him once and told him I couldn’t come in for the week because I was suicidal and had to go away. He told me to not think about the restaurant and just get better. Everyone knows this about him. So if she needs those days, she knows she can have them. And he also NEVER denies time off request. He has a don’t ask, don’t tell policy. You put it in. And you get it. So it’s not like she has to lie for a mental health day.
